BUILDING WITH BENNETT HOMES
1. Colour Consults and Selections
To keep the selections process as stress-free as possible, we have created a 3-week colour consultation program to ensure you have time to make all choices required. You'll have several meetings over these weeks to choose cladding, flooring, plumbing, paint colours, kitchen design, and much more! This can be overwhelming, but our Sale Consultants are there every step of the way to help guide you.
2. Building Consent
Once your final selections have been made and your plans have been signed off on, our team will lodge your plans for consent with the council, it will be processed and a consent will be issued within 20 working days. When the consent has been issued, the building schedule begins and the materials are ordered!
3. Buildertrend
Learn how to use our project management platform called Buildertrend. Giving you access to see real time progress and photos of your build, the ability to request variations and communicate with our Team!
4. The Build
Your build begins! You will meet your Site Manager who ensures the build remains on schedule and works alongside our teams of trusted contractors. You will see new site photos uploaded to BuilderTrend of your home's progress along the way.
Important dates during the build include the electrical walkthrough (choosing electrical fitting placements with your Site Manager), the landscape meeting (choosing concrete and landscape placements), and the final handover with your Bennett Homes team members!
5. The Final Handover
Once the your new home has been completed and CCC has been obtained, the project is ready for final handover. Your Salesperson & Site Manager will meet with you on site to take you through the final hand over process. This process includes a walk-thru the home, tutorials on how to use appliances and/or your air conditioning unit, handing over important documents and manuals relating to the build and the keys to your new home!
6. Survey and Referrals
We want to know about your experience with us! Your input will help us define and deliver a great experience for future clients. As a bonus, if you refer a client to us and they mention you, we will gift you and the referee a $250 prezzy card!
